THE CREATIVE DIRECTION / APPROACH
We made a film within a film, bringing together a cast of global characters - all shot on location in Austin, TX. Our four corners of the world and main cast members found their tribe on Facebook - and set-off to make a short film in the world of miniatures!
Suburban Girl worked extensively during prep with industry leaders in VFX and production design, bringing the skyline of Japan to life, a lived-in Middle-Eastern kitchen, and more.
Every frame was packed with intricate detail - telling the evolution of each character’s individual story, while weaving them all together for the greater narrative.

THE STATS / THE DELIVERY / TAKEAWAY
Each miniature was custom designed, over 30 individual pieces. In addition to the stills component, Suburban Girl, in tandem with TBD, delivered all cutdowns and aspect ratios, finished for each global market. The custom score communicated the tension, excitement and joy across any language. This was a complex campaign executed to precise perfection.
