Suburban Girl was founded by creative producer Katie Heim and Danielle Calodney, a director known for her poppy, joyful commercials.
After meeting on a job and realizing they were destined to work together, Katie and Danielle set out to create the place they wanted to see in the world - a creative production company that supports artists, fosters community and prioritizes the work.
Our Values

CAPABILITIES
Suburban Girl boasts an impressive roster of some of the most talented filmmakers in Austin, Texas. We create high-end commercials, award-winning music videos, feature films, short films, video games, and short films about video games. We embrace technology, obsess over craft and strive to create work that stands out. We are a collaborative community of creators and dreamers — not a typical production company.
We do offer typical production and post-production services as well though if that’s what you need.
Plus, we love making new friends.
